Review: Anchovy Sambal Ala Sambal In-laws

Finding another side dish that makes a plate of hot rice is never enough, this is a variant of the Sambal Mertua brand-style sambal series.

Hmm.. The name is really unique, maybe it was inspired by the chili sauce made by the father-in-law who owns this brand... Or because of a paradox, the tongue-in-law is said to be very spicy.

Anyway, what is certain is that the picture on the package shows that if you marry a mermaid, your in-laws will definitely look like that 😂

This is one of my favorite chili sauce. Try something like this first when you go abroad, because it's very practical to carry it, and the size of the jar is also not very big, it's enough in your pocket. And definitely not spilling, because the lid is screwed so it's very safe.

For the level of hygiene, the packaging is layered again on the lid, so it reduces air entering into it, so the contents don't go rancid easily before the contents can be eaten, and in my opinion this is really good in terms of packaging.

Going straight to the contents, at first I thought the anchovy chili was in liquid form, but it turns out it's made dry, but from the taste, how does the chili taste like. The contents consist of: anchovies, fried onions, sliced lime leaves, and spices. The perfect combination to create a savory and spicy effect.

When it comes to spicy, this chili sauce is not spicy enough in my opinion, but I actually like it, because I get stomachaches very easily, and eating this version of my father-in-law's chili sauce is safe...

The taste of the lime leaves and anchovies is delicious, there is no further comment, the taste is good as the name of the anchovy chili sauce. Then the effect of the crispy anchovies and fried onions is still perfect when I mix it with rice, so it doesn't become sluggish. And the oils that usually sometimes like to be left in the packaging, this is really dry 👍

So, basically, if you're lazy to eat, just mix this anchovy sauce with hot rice, you won't want to add more. okay. Keep the taste fresh.
