Hurry, why are we always in a hurry in life? This morning when I went to work I realized how I always do activities in a hurry. Whether it's when finishing work at home, at the office or just doing simple activities like walking out of the MRT station. I noticed it wasn't just me who was like that, a lot of people were doing the same thing. When the destination station was approaching, or had not even arrived near the station, many moved towards the door, huddled in front of it, as if afraid that when the train stopped there would be no chance to get out. Passengers then walk briskly, often running as if being chased by a demon towards an elevator or escalator, racing towards the stairs that lead to the floor above.

I'm like that too! It was as if there was pride in being the first to reach the escalator, and the first to stick a card to the exit. Sometimes the escalator feels so slow that you have to run up the stairs along with the movement of the stairs up. Maybe they are being chased by time or chased by the past, what is clear is that I am often not being chased by anything. It doesn't make any difference if I sprint, or walk as casually as I can, I'll still arrive at the office. Whether late, on time or early in the morning, nothing is significant. But why do I always do it every day? Repent!
