Review: Odeng Koreakeun

This is one of my most favorite menus of all Korean food products from the Koreakeun brand . I love it so much that I can't even speak... hehe. And it turns out that the kids at home like it too, they add rice, so it's like soup. How good it tastes, I've made a summary here, who knows it might be a reference for you guys...

Odeng Koreakeun is the only menu that is not spicy from all of their Korean food collection. But if you want it spicy, you can just add chili, which is also included in this product.

I used to think this food came from Japan, because if I'm not mistaken it's like I've seen a cartoon like that, I forgot the title, but after watching Drakor, I just found out that it's from Korea. I also really like the packaging of this Odeng Koreakeun, it looks simple and from the picture you can already imagine the savory taste of the delicious broth. Basically, I really prefer soupy foods.

It's also practical if you want to carry it everywhere, because the packaging allows it to be carried everywhere without being complicated. Oh yes, you must be curious about the contents. As the name implies, the contents of Odeng Koreakeun must consist of Odeng (fish cake), broth seasoning (a kind of daschi broth), chili powder, anori, and sesame seeds. There is an additional three skewers for sticking the odeng.

The odeng comes in vacuum packaging so it's pretty durable, but maybe if it's still at room temperature, don't try to store it too long. Personally, as soon as the package arrived, I put all the wet ingredients in the refrigerator until it was time to cook, this is not because the product goes stale easily, but it's a habit, every time I buy wet food, the treatment is the same as buying nuggets and sausages, I always add it refrigerator.

For the price of one serving of Odeng Koreakeun, it's only 29 thousand. I usually buy on Shopee . Compared to Korean food products from the Koreakeun brand, this odeng is probably the most expensive. But in my opinion, this is the most w orth of it , especially those who have small children or maybe their younger siblings. because this is the original seasoning not spicy at all.

For Topokki, Buldak, and others, the basic spices already have a spicy taste, even though chili powder has not been added, this one is not spicy at all. But if you want it spicy, you just need to add chili powder according to taste. So, basically, if you compare it with the price, it's still rational, what's more, the odeng can also be a friend to eat rice too (this is how my kids are like that... hehe)

Now it's the turn for taste, this is the part that I enjoy the most when reviewing food. Honestly, this Odeng is the most favorite menu of all the menus of this Korean Instant Korean food brand, Koreakeun. The broth seasoning is salty and savory, at first I thought it wasn't a lot of seasoning, because when you add it to the water, the color doesn't look cloudy.

But when you feel it, wow... how come it fits so well?! what's more, when it's mixed with anori powder, it's hard to say, akuuh. Eaten hot, it's really delicious, guys... the odeng doesn't tear easily, because in my opinion it's quite thick and the taste of the fish isn't fishy at all, which my kids and I like the most. What's more, it's also equipped with skewers, making it beautiful when the food is cooked in the photo.
