Review: Gekikara Ramen Premium Extra Hot Chicken
It's been a long time since I've eaten Gekikara Ramen, even though this is one of my favorite Korean-Japanese-style noodles, because the price is relatively cheap compared to imported ones, and the taste is equally delicious, and of course there is a halal label. It turned out that this time it was the premium version. Previously I've also reviewed other Gekikara Ramen series, such as Gekikara Remen Spicy Seafood Flavor Gekikara Extra Spicy Fried Ramen (this is a bit similar but different), and Nissin Gekikara Ramen Extra Hot Kuah .
At first I had a feeling that maybe this is the same as before, just different packaging, but it turns out that it's really different, starting from the texture of the noodles, seasonings, and so on. When compared to the old packaging, the premium Gekikara Ramen packaging is dominated by gold color, maybe to make it look glamorous. The distinctive chili-chili accent is also still there, and with Japanese writing, at first glance, it looks like imported noodles, doesn't it. The size is also relatively large, the contents are about 121 g. Then there is the premium writing which is quite large.

In the past, Gikakara Ramen was equipped with some kind of vegetables, for this one it only consists of three items, noodles, seasonings, and oil. Only the noodles are bigger like udon. It's quite simple, there aren't a lot of condiments, but at first I was skeptical about the taste, when the extra came out, it was only like this. Even when it's cooked, it's a different story.
Nutritional content and composition
When we talk about food, we also talk about the nutrients that food can provide to our bodies, because otherwise we can only be full. Even though instant food actually contains nutrients and nutrients, it is certainly different from fresh and raw food . For this one ramen noodle, it contains about 770 kcal, just right for one meal. It contains about 10 grams of protein, 75 grams of carbohydrates, and 1.1 grams of salt.

As for the seasoning, the ingredients are richer in the oil, so if I think it's the oil that makes it taste good, the oil also makes it spicy because there's about 4% chili paste in it. And what makes it savory is the seasoning, in my opinion. . The rest doesn't have anything weird in its composition, it's the same as most instant noodles, but maybe there's more chili powder to make it spicy according to the claim it's extra hot .

Taste and aroma
Now, this is the part I've been waiting for, tasting.. hehe, this is how to cook it like fried noodles, I think the seasoning is quite thick and it's red, I haven't tried it yet, I have a bad feeling that it will be really spicy but thank God, it's not that spicy, it's still very human in my opinion, even though the edges of the lips do feel a little dower like that..💋
The noodles themselves were just what I expected, they were thicker and more like udon than ramen. It's chewy and satisfied when you take a bite, when it enters your mouth, it mixes with the spicy pasta seasoning, it bursts on your tongue, and you feel fire coming out of your ears, because it's spicy. When you stir the chili powder you can still see it, that means there's really a lot of it. If you say it's extra spicy, it's okay, if it's enough for me to make you sweat. Here's what it looks like,

Like I said earlier, this premium Gekikara Ramen is really plain, because it doesn't have any vegetables or real meat.. hehe but if you look closely, it turns out that there are sesame seeds that are embedded in the seasoning, it's just a coincidence that the photo doesn't lift the sesame. And look, the noodles are huge, you can imagine how satisfied you are when you chew.
